OK so I posted this shortly before the old forum met its untimely end *sobs*, so I thought I'd repost it just in case anybody wanted to have their say on these, post your favourites (or your own) here.

I find this more amusing than I really should.

It's both cute, yet funny, that may be why.

I can't choose my favourite out of Serious Cat, and Doug and Vanessa, both make me crack up everytime when I look at them

I feel that the serious cat may have to be brought up to lower the tone at moments of particularly intellectual debate.

.....is that supposed to resemble a penis?

Meh not that good but when I look at it all I can think of is how flat the bottom half of it looks and how it looks like a discarded doll.

More importantly however is there a prize for best caption?

I think we have a winner in Chris' comment, I'll decide some sort of prize for you when I can be bothered.

i am beginning to think that the internet rather than a crazed outlet for porn is instead becoming the outlet for mediocre artists to upload their crummy cartoons.

True, I would never recommend to the artist of this cartoon he did it as a career but it seemed fitting for the thread. The things people do on the internet are truly ridiculous if you think about it. No one could have ever predicted a serious outlet for creativity would be captioning cats to be viewed by thousands of people over a wide area network.

I think that's the first time anyone non-fictional has ever used the word "crummy".

Wow, I actually took the time to read that small print, I read it a few times, and still don't understand the point of it.

there was no point... i didnt like the comment on its own so i added some small print\pseudo advertisement of myself and my benefit to the site.

i also wanted another excuse to use the word crummy

What you did was a form of torture. I didn't want to hurt my eyes trying to read it but I had to know damn you.
